Relaxed

Hello everyone,
I just completed a relaxation exercise and WOW! am I relaxed and energized. I have meditation before, but right now I feel more relaxed than I have felt in a long time. I know you were supposed to close you eyes, but I enjoyed watching the light show while I was processing this journey. I intend on making this a part of my daily routine, because with four children, two part time jobs, full time learning, and an injured husband I can use all the help I can get. I enjoyed this journey and hope there are more relaxation techniques in future assignments. The tension I normally feel in my neck and shoulders creates numbness, tingling, stiffness, soreness and heaviness in my arms neck back and shoulders. I do not feel any of those symptoms. I see a chiropractor frequently, maybe these techniques will help with these symptoms. Right now I do not feel this way.

  1. You have your plate full. I am seriously going to look into some of the meditation guides with CDs at the library.Enjoy your relaxation!

  2. I like how you described your physiologial symptoms of stress. Identifying these symptoms early on can help you step in and prevent further stress from using meditation techniques such as this.

  3. I definitely felt relaxed and energized too!! I too found myself more focused when I opened my eyes during the exercise. I sure hope that this technique will help you throughout your crazy busy life! Every now and then you need to make sure you fit in some relaxing time, so this will be beneficial to you! I'd like to see what other techniques you use. I have a pretty busy lifestyle too, and I am open up for suggestions!

  4. I listened to the CD last weekend and found to be relaxed in no time at all. I was so focused after opening my eyes up that I was ready to start accomplishing some tasks around the house and in better spirits too I might add. Keep up the good work and great tips!

  5. I watched it with my eyes open too. Sometimes when I close them I find it harder to concentrate on the speaker because my mind starts wandering.
